And now, the Naughty Ever After Interview with Erika Reed:

NEA: What genre(s) do you write and why?

Erika: I enjoy writing Contemporary Romance.

 NEA: What was the last book you read and what did you think of it?

Erika: You are going to think I am just saying this because of your interview, but I just got done reading Clifftop Fantasies by Cassidy Alexander. (:-) Thanks!) I really enjoyed how the character Allie converted the house willed to her by her deceased father into a BDSM Bed & Breakfast. Allie and her two lovers wanted a place where couples could come, relax and be themselves aside from their day to day lives.

 NEA: Where did you grow up and how does it affect your worldview?

Erika: Growing up and living in Southern California, I like to think of myself as a open-minded person.

 NEA: What is your philosophy about relationships?

Erika: I have been married to a wonderful man for 16 years. I am not against same sex marriages or poly marriages. I feel that it doesn’t matter who you love, as much as it is about how you love.

 NEA: Where would you live if you could live anywhere in the world?

Erika: Oh, that’s an easy one. I would live in the Bahamas in one of those huts that sits over the water. I love the sun and sand.

 NEA: Do your characters talk to you?

Erika: Yes, I believe that my characters tell me what to say. They want me to tell their story and to make sure that they have a happy ending.

 NEA: Are you a plotter or a pantser?

Erika: I am constantly writing and rewriting my rough drafts. Sometimes it takes me three chapters before I can move on with the story. I never know where the story will go.

 NEA: What is your favorite thing in the world to do?

Erika: I enjoy spending the summers at the Colorado River, soaking up the sun, watching my family and friends playing on the Sea Doo’s and boats while on the water.

 NEA: Would you rather have a motorcycle, sailboat, horse, or big-screen tv?

Erika: Can I hold on to my big-screen tv, while riding on the back of my motorcycle, heading to my sailboat, to sail away to the Bahamas? *wink*

 NEA: What was the best job (other than writing) that you’ve ever had?

Erika: I am a poker dealer here in California at a local Indian Casino. This has been my favorite job by far. Sitting at a poker table three days a week, you tend to accumulate some interesting stories and meet some fascinating people.
